Sant Jaume dels Cortals was planned to be completely integrated in the scenery, and so a large window connected with the Valley of els Cortals. Just 50 metres from the chapel there is the Bosc de les Llaus viewpoint, a privileged position to see the Encamp Valley. Near the church, there is the monumental sculpture “Lloc pagà”, by the Irish artist Michael Warren.
