Is a stroll to the centre of the village, the core of Sant Julià de Lòria’s social and cultural life, with buildings that show us the town’s evolution since the 12th century.
Interestingly, the name of this route, Ronda Laurediana, comes from the fact that the village of Sant Julià de Lòria is also known as Laurèdia.
Man and Matter
Is a tour of the most representative sculptures and artistic creations in the parish. It is a sign of how, throughout the centuries, men have harnessed the elements and material in order to guarantee their existence, but also as a form of expression.
You will also learn about how people took advantage of the mountain’s natural resources in the past, especially water, building many conduits and turning them into a meeting point for friends and family members, a place for religious and domestic activities, etc.
La Rabassa - La Peguera
Finally, the La Rabassa–La Peguera route offers you a visit to the old quarter of Aixirivall, the vines and the Casa Auvinyà cellar, a reproduction of a small medieval village, the Juberri Gardens, which reach the hermitage of Sant Cristòfol, and Casa Gendret, a small family business specialising in the production of jams and jellies. Finally, we recommend topping off the route with a visiting to ancient Aixirivall, where you can see the fountain, the Church of Sant Pere and the old school dating back to 1887.
