Accommodation for up to 6 people. You can get to the Ribaescorjada hut (2,075 m above sea level) by driving to the end of the El Forn road. From there, proceed on foot along the Ribaescorjada path, which passes just underneath the Canillo cable car. The path is signposted with markers for the snowshoe route in the El Forn sector of the Grandvalira ski resort. You’ll need to follow the path to the Planell de Ribaescorjada plain, from where you’ll see the hut.
The route on foot takes about an hour, with an elevation gain of 170 m. It is an easy route.
The stone-built hut opened in 1981 and has bunk beds, a fireplace and water next to the shelter. It is not staffed and is open all year round, but maintenance is usually done during the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kit, etc.). The hut has mobile phone coverage.
