There’s now a new way to get around Andorra, with the shared Cicland electric bicycle service.
The service is available 24/7, weather permitting. Cicland is a public service which is available to all. To use it, all you need to do is download the app online and choose one of three options available: pay-as-you-go (recommended if you’re a tourist), payment for 25 rides and, finally, with an annual subscription. You can find price details online, along with further information on each of the available options so that you can choose one that best suits your needs.
Cicland bikes are designed and adapted to the Andorran terrain. They have the latest generation motor with a range of almost 100 kilometres (62 miles). Electric charging is carried out by induction to avoid possible water of ice leakage at charging points. If a station is full, the bicycle can be blocked by using your mobile application.
Cicland allows you to travel across the region thanks to 14 stations distributed throughout Andorra, most of which are located in the central valley. Andorra la Vella has 5 stations: Plaça de la Rotonda, Enclar Park, national bus station, Prat de la Creu with Prada Casadet, and at a parking lot at Avda. Meritxell. There are 4 stations in Escaldes-Engordany: Plaça Santa Anna, Avda. Fiter i Rosell, Avda. Fener with Carrer de la Unió and Passeig de l'Arnaldeta de Caboet. The remaining 14 are spread across each parish: in Plaça Carlemany in Canillo, in Plaça dels Arínsols in Encamp, in Plaça de les Fontetes in La Massana, in Prat del Call in Ordino and in Plaça Laurèdia in Sant Julià de Lòria.
All the information you need about the electric bicycle service is available on the Cicland website.
