Ulteriori informazioni
The Pal Arinsal ski resort doesn’t just operate in the winter – when the cold gives way to the heat, far from closing down, the resort transforms into Pal Arinsal Bike Park, one of southern Europe’s most impressive areas for mountain biking! In fact, it’s chosen by major international mountain bike competitions, who choose our circuit for the high quality of its facilities and equipment. It’s the ideal destination for mountain bike lovers, whether they’re experienced bikers looking to advance their skills or just getting started.
Pal Arinsal Bike Park offers a staggering 32 circuits designed for all difficulty levels. Whatever your level, you can sign up to biking classes at our dedicated downhill school. The team of experienced trainers will be responsible for sharing all technical knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport, while observing our strict health and safety standards at all times. Our downhill school is available to all our visitors aged 3 years and above! You can learn to mountain bike from scratch, or you can practice your existing skills and up your mountain biking game, all in great company. The school offers specific programmes and plans designed for children, and both one-to-one and group classes are offered by our special team of experienced biking professionals. The downhill school is ideal for visitors who are just getting started, with practice areas for beginners and dedicated blue and green circuits, making learning and practicing easy for those with no previous mountain biking experience whatsoever.
Discover Pal Arinsal Bike Park
Pal Arinsal Bike Park includes 24 downhill trails that make the most of our ski runs’ slopes and hard ground. Some circuits have even been approved for the Mountain Bike World Cup (DH WorldCup), so you can rest assured – quality and safety are guaranteed! And for our most experienced guests looking for some extra adventure, we offer our stunning Wood Park, one Pal Arinsal Bike Park’s star circuits featuring boardwalks, jumps, holes and other obstacles.
If you particularly enjoy cross-country mountain biking, we’ve got you covered, too. Our resort is equipped with four circuits that traverse narrower paths, including enduro. We even have facilities for four-cross mountain biking, a relatively new style of mountain bike racing where four bikers race downhill on a prepared track, the aim being to simply reach the end of the track first. A pump track completes our set of circuits, with an infrastructure designed to help you perfect your existing skills before trying out some of the other circuits on offer.
Pal Arinsal Bike Park features a dedicated Fun Zone for our younger bikers who want to try their hand at trial biking. The Fun Zone circuits were designed none other than Trial World Champion Xavi Casas and are suitable for children aged 6 to 11. They include a safe Practice Area, where children can start acquiring their very first trial biking skills, a Kids Bike Park, comprised of a number of dirt tracks – including a stunning Wood Park circuit – and finally, the Pump Track, giving the first-time bikers a chance to test out the techniques they’ve learned.
Activities at Pal Arinsal Bike Park
As you might expect, Pal Arinsal Bike Park is fully on board with renewable energy! An e-bike circuit is available to visitors, on a route running from Pla de la Caubella to Coll de la Botella, and once again, varying levels of difficulty are available to cater to all types of bikers.
Don’t have your own bike yet or prefer to travel light? You’re in luck! We invite you to use our bike rental services at Pal Arinsal. Our store models are suitable for both cross-country and downhill biking. Rent by the hour, half-day (four hours) or full day. Discounted rental prices are available for children and pensioners – ask our staff members for further details.
There’s a full range of biking services available at Pal Arinsal Bike Park, including cleaning and mechanical repair points. These are strategically located through the park to meet the needs of the maximum number of users. The surrounding villages, apartments and hotels, as well the nearby parish of La Massana, are all adapted to the needs of our customers and all provide a number of complimentary services. Pal Arinsal Bike Park is ranked by Red Bull as the 4th best Bike Park in the world!
In the interest of the safety and security of all park visitors, please ensure you recognise and follow our position (10, 20, 30, 40, 46) and direction (ahead, left, right) signs located throughout the park. A Pal Arinsal Bike Park checklist is also available to visitors to ensure mountain biking best practices are followed at all times, to ensure a safe, fun, accident-free visit for children and adult visitors alike.
