Low prices and a variety of products and services for all sorts of customers. These are the two reasons for which River is prestigious and interesting. This makes it one of the most visited among all of Andorra’s shopping centres. In point of fact, it is located in the outskirts of Sant Julià de Lòria, at Carretera de Espanya s/n, that is to say, in the main access route from Spain. It is a highly versatile commercial area arranged like a large hypermarket, offering some supplementary services, which we will detail further along.
Like the other commercial establishments in the country, one of the main advantages of this centre is the extensive opening hours and days. It further offers a home delivery service.
Two floors featuring all kinds of stores
Because it is a large hypermarket, the River shopping centre has a wide range of products on offer: food, household products, electrical appliances, culture and much more. As with the majority of these types of centres, the butcher, fishmonger, bakery, patisserie, frozen products, beverages, international products and all the items required for one’s everyday meals are all located on the ground floor. EcoRiver is a line of organic products that are sold in this area. A chemist and a perfume shop, both with direct access from the outside, are also available on this level.
On the first floor, however, there are sections such as electronics, fashion and clothing, tobacco, toys, stationery and homeware, car accessories and sports items, among many other options. Motor home owners will also enjoy a section selling accessories for their vehicles. All of this, occupying more than 20,000 m2, where all kinds of seasonal and promotional products may be found.
Other services offered by River Shopping Centre
In addition to the products directly sold in River, the shopping centre has neighbouring stores that offer other services supplementing those of the hypermarket. For instance, there’s a children’s playground, where children may play while the adults are shopping. It also has its own cafeteria, where one might have a hot beverage or even something to eat, as it offers menus including hot dogs, salads and others. Like the perfume shop and the chemist, this shop has its own access from the outside. As for parking, there are more than 500 spots. In the surrounding areas there are a number of petrol stations where one might refuel, as well as black and grey water disposal facilities for motor homes.
Lastly, another noteworthy feature of this hypermarket are the discounts it offers. Every month, River Andorra’s catalogue announces interesting promotions, both in terms of product launches and end-of-season stock, with sales not just in food, but in all other areas, such as household items, personal care products, automotive, watches, travel and any of its departments.
