Bridge of la Tosca
Locatie en contact
Built in Medieval times, it dates to 1820. It is built entirely from stone with a rounded arch, cobbled paving, a short wall and a height of 10 metres.
This parish is home to not only the La Tosca bridge but other bridges as well, given that they used to be the only way to get around; the two Valira rivers – Valira del Nord and Valira d’Orient – and the Madriu River converge here.
Interestingly, you may recognise the silhouette of this bridge from the Escaldes-Engordany parish coat of arms!
For more information, you can visit the Escaldes-Engordany Tourist Office.
