ot@ordino.adLocated in the area of the Esquella d’Ordino Forest, the living forest is an area devoted to children, where they can get to know the true history behind Tió de Nadal that grows every year in the magic forest of Ordino.
Be submerged in the legend of Tió de Nadal and take a stroll around the forest to discover the faces of the enchanted pines. A fun visit where your children will learn the importance of preserving and respecting nature through the story of Tió de Nadal.
The forest has been decorated with the figure of Tió de Nadal, with a set of trees wrapped in blankets where the legend is told.
The activity is prepared for children from 3 years of age and the trail lasts 10 minutes on average from Coll d’Ordino, or 60 minutes from Segudet. Sign-posts will lead you to the starting point.
In the forest you can find almost 30 sculptures created by Àngel Calvente as part of his project “Arrels” (Roots), a mysterious and fascinating exhibition fully integrated into the natural environment.
Through his work, Calvente has brought a mystical, magical and very human life to this part of the forest, calling on us not to forget about the forests and to better take care of them.
