Built in 2000, it is part of the Naudi Group, which also includes the Hotel Naudi (the group's flagship) and the Pizzería l’Avet.
A little history
“Naudi” is a well established family name in the world of hospitality and in the town of Soldeu. Now run by the family's third generation, its beginnings date back to a little before the 1960s, when their grandmother, Rosa, used to serve meals in her small establishment “La Chaumière” (currently the Pizzería l’Avet) to workers who were at that time building the Grandvalira ski resort, as well as the tourists who came to visit Andorra. Thus, as the La Chaumière increased its offer, the establishment began to provide accommodation to all those travellers, thereby creating the hotel known nowadays as the Hotel Naudi.
Hotel services and facilities
Set in natural surroundings, it is opposite the Hotel Naudi, 150 m from the cable car up to the Grandvalira ski slopes and only 20 minutes from the centre of Andorra by car.
The hotel's services and facilities include a lounge area and cafeteria, largely decorated in wood, which blend into each other to form a unique, open space, creating a warm atmosphere where you can have a snack, read, watch TV or chat. The hotel also has Wi-Fi, a laundry service, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, and it offers a massage service, perfect for relaxing after a long day's skiing or mountain activities!
What's more, the hotel has 40 double rooms, all of which have mountain views, a safe, satellite TV and a small balcony. Comfort, warmth and functionality are the adjectives that best describe stays at the Hotel Xalet Montana.
Aimed at adults, children over 14 years old are also accepted. Pets are not allowed (except guide dogs) and the facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Late check-out option (for a fee).
