Voor meer informatie
The Port d’Envalira picnic area sits on the top of this mountain pass, on the CG2 road. This is the route you should take if you want to avoid the Envalira Tunnel, especially if you are travelling by bike. It is a difficult mountain pass, situated at more than 2,400 metres above sea level; this small picnic area therefore offers spectacular views of the valley. The exact altitude of this rest spot is 2,147 metres, making it one of the highest-altitude picnic areas in Encamp and the whole of Andorra.
The Port d’Envalira picnic area was created recently and includes three stone tables with seating around them. It is next to the COEX refuge, on one of this mountain pass’s many bends. There is no barbecue or water supply, as is the case for Cortals d’Encamp, but there is plenty of parking space.
Before visiting a picnic site, check its status at the tourist information office of the parish in question.
In the event of an incident, call 112.
