Andorra L’Andart is packed with new things this year: the date is moving from summer to autumn; the location is changing to Sant Julià de Lòria; and, this year, the event featured artists from guest country San Marino.
Under the slogan ‘Mountains in Circulation’, at a time when the crisis of the energy model and the impact of climate change are forcing us to look for a new way of relating to our surroundings, the artistic pieces presented at the 5th edition of the biennial revolves around the circular economy.
All the works of the artists taking part in the event this year are displayed in Sant Julià de Lòria.
The former CATSA tobacco factory, one of the spaces emblematic of the parish, reopens to host an exhibition of artists from San Marino and Andorra, as well as two large-scale installations resulting from the biennial’s collaboration with the Soriger Foundation.
There will also be a number of temporary exhibitions in various urban spaces, making them more accessible to the general public.
