Church of Sant Marc i Santa Maria
Ort und Kontakt
It is Romanesque in origin and structure although it was refurbished several times in the 18th century. Inside Sant Marc i Santa Maria in Encamp we find the pretty wooden choir, ancient chests, cupboard and a bench, probably from the 18th century. Remaining too is the base of a Romanesque altar with a hiding place for relics and the remains of a Roman mausoleum from the third to fourth centuries. Outside we find the gabled bell tower and two human heads sculpted in rough stone. Guided tour on request.
