This route starts in the village of Sant Julià de Lòria and climbs along the Camí de Sant Cerni path to the village of Nagol along the Camí de Sant Martí. The path connects the village of Nagol with the Sant Martí church and the meadow and the terraces that are next to this church. Coming out of the very north of the village of Nagol, it flanks the mountain side with a slight slope and goes over a pass in the middle. The path is cobbled on either side of this pass; there are also some sections above a dry stone embankment.

Sant Martí de Nagol is an 11th-century Romanesque church declared a site of cultural interest. It is notable for its location, embedded in a rock on the north side of the nave with cliff falling away on the south side. The front door is documented on 7 May 1048 in a donation to Santa Maria d’Urgell.

Its strategic position dominates the entry into the Vall de Sant Julià. It was restored in the 20th century as it was in ruins, with only the side walls and the apse preserved.

At the foot of the church there are magnificent views of the valley and the town, before the return to the centre of the town.

For your safety, we recommend doing all routes above 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. Weather and terrain conditions permitting, however, the season can run from May to October.
