Juclà Hut
Serviceleistungen
Ort und Kontakt
It is a stone building that was inaugurated in 1990 and is manned from June to September. It can accommodate up to 45 people and serves meals. During the rest of the year, it has an unmanned annexe that can accommodate six people.
Access to the Juclà Shelter on foot starts out from the Pont de la Baladosa at the bottom of the Incles Valley, where there is a car park. In summer, between July and September, the road is closed to vehicular traffic during the day. In winter, access to it may also be blocked due to the accumulation of snow. In these cases, it is possible to reach the bottom of the valley along the Camí de l’Obaga trail in the Incles Valley.
The manned shelter has the usual facilities for mountain accommodation (bunk beds, mattresses, bed linen, showers, toilets, telephone, radio, etc.).
The Juclà Shelter is one of the landmarks on several mountain trails (GR): the GRP (Andorra), the GR11, the GRT (cross-border) and the start/end of the circular Coronallacs trail.
It is also part of the Entrepyr network, a cross-border project that facilitates treks in the Pyrenees by promoting manned shelters in French, Spanish and Andorran territories. Bookings for all affiliated shelters can be made directly through the Entrepyr website.
