The buildings dates back to the late 16th and early 17th century. The Cal Pal Mill and Saw Works are in the village of La Cortinada (Ordino), and were active until around the 1960s. In 1996 them were reopened as and Interpretation Centre with all of the original elements restored.

On the tour we will see a demonstration of woodcutting using an old hydraulic saw and we will also see the process of turning wheat into flour using an original grinding stone. All of the tours are complemented with an explanatory video.

Visits to the centre are guided and take place during the months of July and August: from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visits last approximately 30 minutes.

Museum on the list of the Andorra Museum Passport, Andorra Museumpass.
