The church, which is dedicated to Sant Romà, is Romanesque in origin with a single rectangular nave and semi-circular Lombardian apse. Inside we find the stone altar, reproductions of the Romanesque paintings by the Master of Santa Coloma (12th century) representing St John’s apocalyptic view and gothic paintings with iconography of St Peter (16th century). Several modifications have been made over time, such as the construction of the porch (16 to 17th-century), a defence tower (13th century), a water tank with irrigation circuit dug out of the rock, the remains of a strong house bearing witness to its civil architecture (late 13th century), and two modern watchtowers.

Guided tours from mid-July to mid-September. The rest of the year, guided tours on request.
