Accommodation adapted for hikers
In Andorra, we take care of the hikers that plan their routes in Andorra.
That's why hotels adapt their offer to travellers' needs. If you are going to do a stage on foot, you can choose the mountain accommodation that suits your requirements.
There are manned refuges, which essentially are rural houses or mountain constructions that offer all the services you could possibly need: breakfast, lunch and dinner in their restaurant café, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, heating and all facilities provided by quality accommodation. If you're talking about a high-mountain route and long-distance trail, you may need to use our unmanned refuges. These are located in privileged natural environments, although with very difficult access. That's why they have no reception and don't offer regular hotel services.
And if you are a cyclist, you should know that many of our accommodations can be considered bike-friendly, as they adapt their offer and facilities to guests just like you. In this sense, meal varieties and times are more extensive, and spaces are provided for storing your bike overnight, washing it during the day and even making some small adjustments and repairs.
