The first section of the path is a GR. The Camí de Manyat starts in the little village of Certés, at the foot of the Serra de la Creu (alt. 1,385). The start of the route is at the end of the road to Certés, next to a spring (the track starts on the right). We follow this track to the narrow path marked as the GR 7.

The narrow path climbs the valley to Costasseda pass, but we continue to the right, following the GR7, until Els Cortals de Manyat. Above the ‘bordes’, where the paths cross we turn right and leave the GR7. Our path will lead us to a plain with the remains of ancient mountain cabins. We climb to the Collada de Caülla, where we have a spectacular view of the whole of the valley of Sant Julià de Lòria, the Alt Urgell region and the Comapedrosa crests. We return the same way as we came.

The route starts at the end of the road to Certés (42º 28' 18.069", 1º 30' 12.0636").

For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1,700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. However, if the weather and terrain conditions allow it, the season may extend from May to October.

You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
