The La Comella - Merendero Nuevo picnic area is the biggest in Andorra la Vella and one of the best-equipped in the whole country. It boasts 24 barbecues, so that you can cook in safe conditions, and 19 tables for group lunches! This is why it is a favourite spot for Andorrans and visitors alike, whether it be for a family reunion or a delicious barbecue near the city. What’s more, it has other practical details that will help you to organise your day. For example, it is home to plenty of parking at the entrance and 5 drinking fountains, where you can refill your bottles. And there are plenty of toilets, which are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
You will find the La Comella - Merendero Nuevo picnic area at the 4 km point of the CS101 road. Nearby is the Merendero Viejo, a smaller picnic area.
