Andorra's stockbreeders promote and sell meat from their livestock reared and fattened in Andorra, through their association.
Thanks to this work, which began over 20 years ago, you can now find beef with the 'European Protected Geographical Indication' (PGI) seal. There is also ox, lamb, goat and horse meat with the 'Meat of Controlled Quality from Andorra' seal.
The Ramaders d'Andorra stockbreeders' association now includes over 50 members who raise their livestock following traditional methods and with rigorous criteria, to achieve a quality product with a well-defined identity.
You'll find meat made in Andorra with the PGI seal and quality seal throughout the country. Ask for it at specialist points of sale – butcher's and supermarkets – and in restaurants.
