At Visitandorra.com you can access detailed and up-to-date information on the slope conditions in Andorra, with images taken by live webcams at each resort. Of course, you’ll also find information on Naturland, the only resort in Andorra dedicated to cross-country skiing. The website features lots of information, such as access conditions, snow depth and other info you’ll want to know before leaving for your destination.
The Naturland webcam offers live images that are updated almost every minute. It gives you a small window into this skiing resort, letting you know what the sky’s looking like, snow levels and slope occupancy. The images show two sectors: one at 1,600 metres and one at 2,000 metres. At the bottom of each image, you’ll see the recording details with the date and time indicated.
You’ll also be able to consult up-to-date information on the resort, including the percentage of slopes open, for instance, showing them with a coloured circle. You’ll also see the conditions of the slope access points and a reference to the current climate at each resort. Finally, it also tells you today's expected maximum and minimum temperatures. The information on snow type and thickness is essential information for all skiers.
The leisure park itself, found in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria, covers a full 800 hectares in the middle of a forest in the La Rabassa region and is open all year round, with plenty of activities for visitors to experience, come rain or shine. The park is divided into two separate spaces of different altitudes. The esplanade with the main rides can found at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) above sea level, whereas the space at 2,000 m (6,560 ft) above sea level is home to the starting point of many of the circuits.
Cross-country ski in Naturland
Lovers of Nordic skiing in Andorra won't want to miss the only resort in the Principality that specialises in this discipline. It’s a unique space, as the slopes are inside a multifunctional enclosure, whose main function is as an eco-park and adventure park. The cross-country trails are in the highest area, located about 2,000 metres above sea level, with parking available for visitors. The sector provides all the basic services for a cross-country skier, such as equipment hire huts and café-restaurants with menus offering seasonal dishes.
The resort even has its own ski club and a school, whose instructors offer courses for all levels with different durations. You can enjoy an intensive course over several days, perfect for visitors from other parts of Andorra or other countries. You’ll also find guided excursions with instructors from the centre.
The 1,600 metre section is perfect for recreational purposes. Although there are other entertaining activities, such as the sleds and the Tobotronc in the Naturland upper sector, the area at 1,600 metres is devoted to the adventure park, and doesn’t have any cross-country skiing tracks. Some of the attractions you’ll find in this area are the Airtrekk, consisting of a wooden structure 45-feet high to put your sense of balance to the test, and buggy Xtrem circuit. Further information can be found on the park's website.
Activities at Naturland
The second unmissable experience at Naturland is Airtrekk, a unique aerial circuit designed to test the balance of children and adults alike. Don’t worry, it’s 100% safe and secure! Harnesses will keep users in place, and a rock-solid safety guide is in use to ensure everyone feels safe while having a great time. The route is built on a 13.5 m (44 ft) high wooden structure, with no less than 54 obstacles and its Airtrekk’s own zip line measuring 180 m (5,900 feet) in length.
The little ones are of course more than welcome at Naturland! They can enjoy our pony rides and our kid-sized toboggans. There are some sporty activities for them too, such as archery, or they can unleash their inner creativity in our face-painting workshops.
For slightly older kids and adult family members, we offer our Xtrem Jump activity, 4x4 buggy circuits and even guided hikes for something a little calmer. The thrilling Xtrem Jump consists of leaping into the void from a giant inflatable platform with two available heights, either 2 meters (6.5 ft) or 4 meters (13 ft). This activity is located in the part of the park situated at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) above sea level and is suitable for both children and adults, provided they are at least 1.2 m (3 ft 11) tall. Xtrem Jump is only available in the summer months.
But that’s not all! In the same sector 2000 you can also take part in other activities such as skimo, snowshoeing, riding MoonBikes and horse riding, among many others.
Real time information
Activities at Naturland are greatly affected by weather conditions and we always recommend our visitors to check the official website while planning their trip to ensure all the activities and facilities you’re excited about are open and operational before you set off. The best way to do this is to visit the official website of Meteo Naturland, where you can check current weather conditions in real-time on both levels (1,600 meters and 2,000 meters). Webcam views are constantly updated and they really are the best way to get a feel for the current climate on-site before you travel.
Additional information that’s available to visitors are updated stats on temperature levels, wind speed and direction, and the true temperature sensation taking into account other climatological factors. There’s even a handy link to Andorra’s official weather forecast, updated daily! All the key information at your fingertips, available whenever you need it.
Ski passes and tickets
The park offers a variety of tickets. First of all, the season pass gives you access to the 15 km of cross-country ski slopes found at the resort, while also allowing you to try the skimo and snowshoeing circuits, among a wide range of other offers and promotions. You can also purchase a single-day pass for any of the three activities. If cross-country skiing is all you want to do, we also have the La Rabassa pass which, in addition to the ski pass, also includes rental of the ski equipment and a one-hour group class with a monitor, as well as a whole host of benefits.
For everything else, the Aventura pass has you covered, giving you access to all there is to offer at Altitude 1600, and some of the activities available at Altitude 2000. For the little ones, the Naturkids pass includes access to airtrekkids, the trampolines and ponies at Altitude 1600, as well as the sledges and snowshoe circuits at Altitude 2000, to name but a few. This pass is only available for children aged 3 to 6 years old.
If cross-country skiing is your activity of choice, then the Natura pass is the perfect option for you. With this global pass, you'll be able to practice skimo or snowshoeing at all of the resorts in the Principality: Grandvalira, Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal and Naturland, you decide! In addition, this pass also allows you to use some of the resorts’ ski lifts, with one cable car return trip per day and per lift included, while you’ll also be granted access to special routes designed just for this activity.
However, all other activities, such as the Moonbikes, snowmobiles, ski classes and night-time experiences are not included in these special passes, although all activities may be purchased individually.
Request more information about these and other promotions at Naturland, and make sure to check the schedules and availability before coming.
