Summer means fun in Andorra for children. There are even more options to have fun as a family, either in search of adventure, relaxation, culture or other activities. This page brings together some of the most interesting ideas for things to keep the little ones busy this summer. You’ll have a blast!
Naturland: an eco-park that has it all
If you’re going to travel to Andorra with children, Naturland is always a safe bet if you’re looking for fun. It’s got it all! Exciting, adrenaline-filled attractions such as a spectacular balance circuit over 40 feet off the ground called Airtrekk, or an alpine slide that goes on for 3 miles, known as Tobotronc, the largest in the world.
Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal: the fun continues in summer
Other interesting ideas in Andorra for children might see you take to the ski resorts of Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal. When the snow disappears from the slopes there, the resorts become adventure parks with a lot of fun possibilities. Grandvalira Canillo sector becomes Mon(t) Magic, with theme activities and fascinating attractions, such as a zip-line over 550 yards long, or their tubbies and mini tubbies. Pal sector, is no slouch when it comes to leisure and adventure activities either, offering mountain karts, buggy rides, climbing walls, slides and more. The Soldeu sector also becomes a Bike Park in summer, with circuits designed for children, like the children’s Wood Park.
The Palau de Gel: open for business in summer
Ice activities aren’t only for winter. In fact, the main rink of the Palau de Gel in Canillo is perfect for anyone missing the cold. There you can practise figure skating, ice-karting, hockey and any other you can think of on skates. You can also celebrate birthdays and events, with activities led by instructors and all the equipment you’ll need available at the centre.
Enjoy a summer dip in Andorra with children
In summer, there’s nothing better than a nice splash in the water. In Andorra, there are lots of options to enjoy a swim. The outdoor pools in our sports centres are a good option, as well as the bathing areas in wellness complexes, such as Anyós Park. Caldea deserves a special mention as the largest spa complex in southern Europe, and it also has outdoor spaces for summer with an area for children. Called Likids, it’s the perfect area for the little ones to enjoy their first experience at a spa.
