The Camí de Santa Bàrbara is, without a doubt, a route for the whole family: with the very low difficulty level, the route takes place in a large and easily accessible space.

A walk by the river

This beautiful route which starts from the centre of the town of Ordino, invites you not only to enjoy a walk surrounded by nature, but also enables you to see two of the most beautiful churches in the parish: the medieval-style Churches of Sant Corneli and Sant Cebrià, located in the heart of the town; and the Church of Santa Bàrbara, a small, Baroque architecture chapel which you will find along the route itself.

Similarly, another charm of this path is that a large part stretches along the Valira d’Orient River: there are wooden benches placed along the riverbank itself, which will allow you to rest for a while before continuing your route. Finally, an abundance of trees, and a variety of flowers and plants will accompany you along the route.

There and back, the route takes less than one hour and involves an elevation of around 83m.
