Location and contact
Ordino Arcalís offers several options for you to continue enjoying the resort in summer! Panoramic views, mountain excursions, tasting of local produce, etc. Keep reading and discover everything you can do at the resort.
Tristaina cable car: a panoramic walk
Located in L'Hortell, this is one of the many attractions available at the resort in summer. With a journey lasting just over 5 minutes, it connects the Hortell area with Coma del Forat. There you will find the starting point of some of the most iconic hiking trails in the area, such as the excursion to the lakes of Tristaina, as well as access to another of the resort’s top attractions: the Tristaina solar viewpoint. The cable car has a capacity of 10 people per cabin.
Tristaina solar viewpoint
At an altitude of 2701 m, and located at the highest point of the peak of Peyreguils, you will find one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Andorra: the Tristaina solar viewpoint! Not only is it one of the tallest peaks in the country, but it also has the added feature of being a sundial! To access the viewpoint you can do so on foot or by getting a special resort pass that combines the Tristaina cable car and the Creussants chairlift. We recommend wearing outdoor clothing and footwear, as despite taking the cable cars, you will have to walk about 15–20 minutes in the mountains.
Excursions via the Creussans chairlift
If you enjoy walks in the mountains and enjoying stunning natural landscapes, you should know that Ordino Arcalís has numerous hiking routes, adapted to suit all skill levels. Here are two of the most popular options:
- Excursion to the Creussans lake
Lasting 2 hours, this route will allow you to discover some of the most unique landscapes in the country. If travelling with family, this route is perfect as it is suitable for both the elderly and children, with a total elevation gain of just 220 m. The route starts at the end of Carretera d’Arcalís, where you should follow the path that borders the river until you reach the lake.
- Verdaguer Route:
The Verdaguer Route is without doubt one of the most beautiful routes in the resort. Named after the Catalan poet Jacint Verdaguer, the route begins just by the Creussans chairlift. The route is unique as it is a descending path that stops at various points of interest, such as the church of Sant Pere del Serrat or Llorts Mine, among others, ending in the village of La Cortinada. This route is difficult and covers about 15.2 km. Finally, visitors should note that they will find information panels throughout.
Dining in Ordino Arcalís
In terms of catering, the resort has two restaurants: Restaurant de la Coma, where you will be able to try quintessential high-mountain dishes such as rice, grilled meats and sausages, as well as other varied proposals such as pizza and empanadas; and the restaurant Refugi de Sorteny, which offers a menu of traditional Andorran cuisine such as trinxat mashed potatoes and escudella soup. Finally, you can also have a snack or quick meal at the Food Ratrac located in the Hortell area, at the foot of the Tristaina cable car.

To access the Ordino Arcalís resort there are many options available.
