To find out more

Tobotronc is one of the rides at Naturland, and has the honour of being the world’s longest alpine toboggan run! It combines speed and adrenaline with the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding landscape – it’s 5.3 km (3.3 mi) long with a total drop of 400 m (1,312 ft), lasting nearly 10 minutes! It runs right through the La Rabassa forest and each bend of the ride offers a unique view of Andorra’s majestic mountains.

But don’t worry – the ride’s big drop is completely safe for visitors as all rides at Naturland observe strict health and safety standards. The ride’s cars can seat two people with safety belts and run on steel rails. A brake lever is also included in the cars, so riders can adjust the speed of their descent manually.

Naturland, home of the Tobotronc, really does have it all – a thrilling adventure park in Andorra, a stunning natural setting and the chance to see large native Pyrenean animals! The leisure park is located in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria and is the ideal solution for those looking for a fun family tourist destination that’s also active and adventurous. The park covers 800 hectares (3 sq. mi) right in the middle of the lush La Rabassa forest and is divided into two distinct areas – one is at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) above sea level, and the other at 2,000 m (6,560 ft) above sea level. There are activities at the park suitable for any weather condition, rain or shine!

Enjoy the Tobotronc

Naturland’s official website at naturlandia.ad features live webcams of the park, so you can check it out in real time before you visit! To check availability of the Tobotronc ride (in case of adverse weather conditions), do call the park in advance on (+376) 741 444 or (+34) 902 042 202. Also worth remembering when planning your visit is that Tobotronc is closed for maintenance on Mondays and Tuesdays, except during the high season. The last Tobotronc ride of each day will be admitted no later than 30 minutes before the park closes, but should there be a large volume of visitors, park management may decide to close the queue ahead of time – so arrive early to avoid disappointment!

Do note that the Tobotronc is not a transfer method between the park’s two sectors – to travel between the two, you’ll need to travel by road. Access to the ride from Wednesdays to Fridays is from level 2,000, whereas on Saturdays and Sundays access is from level 1,600.

A great companion ride to Tobotronc is Airtrekk, an incredible aerial circuit that tests the balance of children and adults alike! The route is built on a 13.5 m (44 ft) high wooden structure, with no less than 54 obstacles and a zip line measuring 180 m (590 ft). And once you’ve enjoyed those, there’s plenty more to do at Naturland for the whole family, such as pony rides, tubby and minitubby toboggans, trampolines, bouncy castles, face-painting workshops, archery, 4x4 buggies, Nature Classroom and so much more!

When and who can try Tobotronc

The ride is designed for both children and adults, the only requirement being a minimum height of 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in). Also, children aged 13 and under who wish to ride the Tobotronc must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over). The ride is open throughout the year, and entry is included in Naturland’s main entry ticket. Please note that in the case of adverse weather conditions, Naturland may close the Tobotronc attraction without prior warning to protect the safety of its visitors, so please check in advance, while planning your visit, to avoid disappointment.

Tobotronc toboggan in the evening

If you want to extend your Naturland experience to the maximum, don’t miss out on a sunset toboggan ride. You’ll enjoy a unique experience in which the adrenaline and the beauty of the landscape combine to give you a truly magical time!

The first level of the park, at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,250 ft), is at 8 km (5 mi) from the centre of the town of Sant Julià de Lòria and can be accessed from the Carretera de La Rabassa. Visitors without their own vehicle can use the Quart Bus public transport service, which drops you off at level 1,600 or level 2,000. The two levels are about 8 km (5 mi) apart.

Tickets and offers at Naturland

Naturland is open nearly all year around and there are various ticket options available to visitors. Prices do vary depending on age and season (low or high), as well as other factors. As access to the ride is included in the park’s general entry ticket, you’ll be able to go on unlimited times! Visitors without a general entry ticket to Naturland do have the option of purchasing a dedicated Tobotronc ticket.

Older members of the family also have plenty of fun options ready for them at Naturland! They can enjoy attractions such as Xtrem Jump – the thrilling sensation of leaping into the void from a giant inflatable platform from one of two available heights: 2 m (6.5 ft) or 4 m (13 ft). There’s also a 4x4 buggy circuit, with buggies coming in 2-person or 4-person versions, ideal for exploring the park in full and discovering the beauty of the landscape! Routes take place within one hour along the paths and forests of La Rabassa, up to the Pic Negre. Along the route, the circuit guide will stop so visitors can take photos and hear all the anecdotes and stories of the itinerary and other curiosities of the route going through the Roca de Pimes Refuge and the viewpoint of Bescaran. There are 30-minute and 60-minute routes available – do bear in mind though that this activity is not included in the full park ticket. Buggy rides for adults take place in the summer only, whereas the children’s buggy activity is open all year round.

All information regarding tickets and passes for Naturland adventure park can be found on the park’s official website, together with full opening times across the year and an events calendar. There’s a dedicated section on promotions and packages for visitors.
